The scope depends on what is opened up on site — walls, access and the condition of existing wiring drive the plan.

What this covers

Adding or replacing circuits for kitchens, laundry, workshops and outdated wiring.

Do this first

  • Keep clear of sparking outlets, burning smells or water near electrical equipment.
  • Do not keep resetting a breaker that trips immediately.
  • Note which rooms lost power and photograph the panel if it is safe.
